The Manatee Band
The Manatee Band is a rock/reggae band. Aaron Morris: vocals and guitar, Paul Mason: vocals and drums, Bruce Ewart: bass. Audiences say we bring great music and energy to every show. Our sets include both original songs and covers. We play mostly across the North York region and Greater Toronto – but ask us if we can come to your area. After a brief stint doing light and sound at Artspace in Peterborough, he studied film an music at Fanshawe College. He’s been writing songs ever since, experimenting with song structure and the art of sound recording. Aaron presently has a multi-track studio north of Toronto and has recorded three CDs of his own songs. His song Gone for a Walk can be found on Amnesty Internationals Voices Rising CD.
Paul has many years of experience playing with various percussion groups throughout Canada, England, Trinidad, and various other places around the world. Although best known for his drumming expertise he is also an accomplished songwriter, bass and rhythm guitar player.
Bruce, at a very young age was in The Royal Conservatory of Music playing piano and violin. After playing bass in a tribute band he later joined the The Manatee Band. Bruce is also an accomplished guitar player and songwriter.
