Mission – to organize and operate annual music and art festivals branded as jazz+ festivals… AMFYR seeks to stimulate and support York Region’s creative culture by collaborating and partnering with as many arts/cultural sectors as possible; by creating community festivals including all music genres, all forms of arts, media, word, theatre; by fostering positive social, creative cultural and community contact and impact; by providing showcase, learning and interactive activities for local youth, members of our diverse cultural mosaic, seniors and families; by creating attractive, interactive, vibrant community events to be enjoyed by everyone in our Region.
